UAB EST LT together with its partner Thermoindustria LLC from Georgia implemented the Development Cooperation Project “Installation of a Solar Power Plant in Waldorf School, Georgia”, financed by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania Climate Change Special Program. The aim of the project was to reduce energy intensity at the Waldorf Free School-Kindergarten in Tbilisi by increasing RES production and consumption. The outcome of the project – the installation of a 20 kW solar power plant.The beneficiary of the project – the community of the Free Waldorf School-Kindergarten in Tbilisi. A 20 kW solar power plant installed during the project implementation will allow to achieve such an environmental impact:
- Electricity consumption will reduce the cost of electricity for the school-kindergarten community;
- CO2 emissions will be reduced, i.e. 17,392 tons per year. CO2 emissions will be reduced by 347,84 t over the entire 20-year project evaluation period. The project was administered by the Environmental Project Management Agency of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania.
